BASTA LOVELIFE: Making Wise Relationship Decisions
My friends kind of discovered this title by accident. I knew that I wanted “Lovelife” in the title, and a couple of them were talking about it. One of them said “basta, lovelife” and the other thought that was the title. Then it kind us that it would be a catchy title.
For my non-Filipino readers, “basta lovelife” would best be translated as “it’s just about lovelife,” or “anything related to lovelife,” but “basta” just doesn’t smoothly translate into English.
The book should be out some time next month. I’ll give you more details once I have them. Please keep this project in your prayers–we are excited!
June,
Thanks so much for your comment! I had to delete it because it included your phone number. This site gets a decent number of visitors and I don’t want you receiving random calls in the middle of the night 🙂
Blessings!!

Looking forward to my FREE copy this Spring!! What are friends for, right? And who knows…maybe sometime in the next two decades I’ll meet a woman and have cause to reference it. Until then, I’ll just prominently display it so that folks will notice it on the shelf – then I can say, “Yeah, he’s one of my best friends.” And they will worship me because I know the great Kuya Kevin.
Jason, that’s the funniest thing I’ve read in quite a while.
bro! you’re title is soooo “in na in.” I was in a record bar yesterday, a cd caught my attention, the title “Lovelife” – a compilation of Boy Abunda’s choice interviews with celebs…came home, switched the tv just in time to hear martin nivera plug his album or concert “lovelife”…. February is just around the corner, lovs is in the air!….lol
That’s great news and I hope it will help spread the book’s message 🙂
