Blessed in Baguio

I had a nice weekend in Baguio.  I went up to celebrate the first birthday (and dedication) of Erwin’s daughter since I’m a ninong.*  I also spoke to the youth group at GCF Baguio Sunday afternoon.

I love this city!  The weather is cool due to the high elevation–you realize you’re in the mountains when you see clouds descending around you (as pictured above).  It’s a generally relaxing city to visit–just doesn’t seem as fast-paced and busy as Manila.

*Ninong is best translated “godfather” in this context.

July Speaking Engagements

Here are some of my upcoming speaking engagements for July.  Please pray for me and those I’ll be sharing with:

July 5th (Sunday):  Greenhills Christian Fellowship, Baguio–youth service (2:00 pm).

July 9th (Thursday):  Resonate Worship (6:00 pm).

July 10th (Friday): True Love Waits, City College of Manila (3:00 pm).

UPDATE–July 11th (Saturday) True Love Waits, Emilio Aquinaldo College

July 19th-July 24th:  Nelson Ayala (Agape Philippine-American Ministries) has invited me to be one of the speakers for Christian Emphasis Week at Central Philippines University, Iloilo City (this will be my first time to visit Iloilo City). We’ll be sharing with thousands of students.

July 25th (Saturday): Seminar for Greenhills Christian Fellowship Call Center Ministry (young professionals and students also welcome).

Looks like this will be another caffeinated month for me!
