It’s been two, maybe three years since I’ve had one–now it’s back!! The orange flavored slurpee! This flavor is right up there with cherry and ube (halo-halo) in my all time favorite flavors! OK, I’m easily amused. Better easily amused than easily depressed, right?
This morning I was invited to attend Union Church of Manila by a friend of mine.
I’ve never attended a church quite like this. There were people there from all parts of the world–different cultures and races gathered together to worship. I think I got a little taste of what the Bible says will happen in heaven:
Revelation 7:9-10
9After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10And they cried out in a loud voice:
“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”
What a great God we serve!
