7 speaking gigs in 11 days
The last few days have been busy and exciting. The Lord blessed me with seven speaking engagements; all but one regarding the love/purity topic. Some of the groups were small (under 50); some were bigger groups (over 200). That never has mattered much to me, as long as there’s a chance to minister to students. VDay is a special time of the year, and I try not to turn down invitations if at all possible.
Sometimes it’s still hard for me to believe that God uses me to communicate His message. I am, after all, kind of a shy type (see confessions of a frightened public speaker).
Thank you God, for doing things in my life that I never would have dreamed of. Thank you for taking me beyond myself–beyond my insecurities and weaknesses.
