Music and Missions

This morning I had a refreshing “coffee break” with some new friends. I met Ramona Simons and Emmanuel Ortaleza, leaders of the 180 Degrees Music Team. This ministry trains Filipino students to develop their musical gifts and equips them to participate in overseas missions. Music and missions—what a great combination!

If you would like to serve God through music, go to their website and send them an email (tell them Kuya Kevin sent you). There is a process (audition, etc) and a two year commitment involved if you are really serious about joining them.

I offered to play the role of American Idol’s Simon the next time they have auditions. They declined.

The team is also available for concerts at churches, youth groups, etc. Just contact them if you are interested.
