TLW@San Sebastian

I did this semester’s first True Love Waits seminar today at San Sebastian College (Recto). This afternoon’s seminar was conducted for the fourth year high school students. We had a wonderful time–the students were very attentive and asked some great questions.

I’ll be doing more seminars for SSCR high school over the next few weeks.

  1. That’s interesting. Usually young people are misled into getting pointers from what they watch. Not all the time you get a seminar on matters of the heart, outside of church that is.

  2. Our ministry really emphasizes reaching out to students outside the church (in their schools, etc). True Love Waits is an abstinence program that teaches them the value of waiting until marriage for sexual activity.

  3. There are a lot of people who feel rejected. They really wanted to belong and experience how to be truly loved. This world offers a lot of lies to gain it. I am saddened to have met a lot of people who messed up their lives looking for love. Its time to tell everyone of a great love that never fails. I thank the Lord for people the Lord has raised such as you kuya and those many others. For when I was younger I heard just one of those seminars and has constantly reminded me how short my life is that I can’t afford to waste it. Don’t lose hope for wonderful things come to those who wait! Lord bless you and your ministry. Cheers.. Jill
