Friendster Comment Spam

I keep getting this in my comments section in friendster:

This is a cropped version of the image.

It’s a pain to sort through and reject all these spam comments.  Looks like many people have allowed their friendster profile to be hacked.

  1. Kevin, I think it’s some spambot. Eeek.

  2. I also received that comments..But I immediately delete them..It’s annoying..

When I went to a fan profile of Jose Rizal, almost all the comments in that profile are like that..

Not only that..I also receive messages in my inbox about a link in a site called yuotube..

I hope they will stopped sending us those kind of comment and messages..

  3. Same here, i received several. it even leads you to Perfspot website that you have to fill-out. The other comment i received was a file from youtube with chipmunk pictures in it. and instead of deleting those links that were sent to me through mail i tagged it as a spam. 😉

  4. you need to setup your comments section to not automatically approve all comments that you receive.

  5. I already have it set up that way. But it is still frustrating and time consuming to reject all of the spam comments.

  6. my comments did not appear in any profile:(
    what should i do?
    i don’t know what happened?

  7. I’m not sure. Sometimes Friendster comments just disappear, but they usually come back.
